Today we’re going to talk a little bit about commissions. If you’re a seller, you’re going to pay a commission, and there’s no way around it. However, commissions are negotiable by law, and they are not set in stone by any brokerage, state, or agent.
An agent can choose not to drop below or go above a certain level, but it is also your right as a seller to negotiate your commission.

I would tell you this. You get what you pay for when it comes to real estate professionals. A discount broker is simply not going to give you the same service as a high-end broker. What’s more important to you, the money in your pocket right now, or getting your home sold for the highest sale price possible in the shortest amount of time?
