Today we are going to talk about choosing the right agent. Don’t get the wrong impression, I’m not here to tell you to hire me, I just want to give you a thought about how you choose the professionals in your life.
Let’s say, for example, you’re choosing a financial adviser. Who do you pick? Do you choose someone’s best friend because you know them? Or do you choose someone who is experienced, with a proven track record to get you the results you desire?
Why don’t people choose real estate agents this way? Often times, people hire a friend, or so and so’s uncle, when in reality, they should be choosing their real estate agent just like they choose their financial adviser.
Before you go hiring your next agent, ask them specific questions like how many homes they have sold, what their marketing plan is, and how they get the best price for their homes. If you ask these types of questions, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
