Newtown Fourth of July Events



The Fourth of July is fast approaching and there a number of events around your area celebrating. Below is a list of festivities and firework shows. I hope you find this helpful in celebrating the holiday, and as always be safe!

Danbury Fair’s Annual Fireworks Show (July 3)

Come enjoy a great concert and some spectacular fireworks after. The concert starts at 8pm and the fireworks follow at 9:30pm.

Fireworks at Comp Beach (July 3)
The Westport Police Athletic League and the Westport Parks and Recreation Dept. will be holding the annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration. Tickets are $35 per vehicle.

Norwalk – Calf Pasture Beach Fireworks (July 3)

Family fun starts at 5:30pm with The Amazing Andy Show (magic, comedy, juggling & more). Dancing at Shady beach is at 6pm. Fireworks at dusk. $20 per car

Bridgeport BlueFish Firework Extravaganza (July 3)

Fireworks will follow at the stadium after the BlueFish take on the Revolution. Game starts at 7:05pm.

Annual Firecracker Road Race (July 4)

Your July 4th festivities begin with a 4-mile road race through the historic streets of Saratoga Springs. There will be live entertainment along the course and a great band at the start and finish. Food, Refreshments and large Vendor Courtyard conclude your race experience

Although this isn’t a Fourth of July event, we wanted to let you know about the Summer Jam Concert for kids going on every Wednesday from June 26 – Aug. 7! Bring a blanket, a picnic and enjoy some music and entertainment for the whole family!
